..... it is going to be a long, long, journey
Certainly we will have time to have a delicious steaming café con leche with a croissant or other pastry. Our train leaves at 12 pm so a good idea will be to buy a spanish style sandwich for the road.
These are the little things we "know" in advanced to our trip. We have our flight tickets into Barcelona, Spain and we are hoping to arrive that evening to the Albergue Beilari, Saint Jean Pied De Port, France. We will spend the night and in the evening join an international company for a home-cooke

On May 14, 2017 we are starting our pilgrimage journey to "El Camino de Santiago" what we are naming "The Pureco Way"
Why The Pureco Way? Simply said because this is our pilgrimage, we are doing it OUR way and with our own reasons to walk it.
Since December 2016, we started getting this and that.
Most of the time, Hector and I do not agree on what is important and what is not.
SInce this is the first of several trips we are going to have to eventually finish the camino, I am sure the pack list will change and somethings will NOT make it
During most years more than 100,000 people walk this particular Camino route though most start somewhere nearer than St Jean Pied de Port. The route is very well supported by the Spanish Government and many of the regions that it passes through, especially Leon
What change now, after 15+ years of waiting for the "right time"? .... We changed our thought process ... all it took was to ask ourselves the question, why don't we walk The Camino in sections? Yes, this is The Pureco Way!!!
All the time while waiting for the date to come closer, we had to keep remembering ourselves that "all is well". We are not going to the jungle or away from civilization and everything always resolves the way it should.
No expectations, Prepare for the Unexpected
