I will be in Ribadiso beginning next week and then may have a better sense of how things are. My guess is that the albergueras at the Xuntas would have an idea how crowded the next ones are. Buen camino to you and your family.
I also have used Express Borricot twice. Very easy and no need to worry about how long it is in storage in Santiago. To me it has definitely worth the €.
Not only did I pair with my walking partner but we tied the two left boots together and the two right boots together and placed them far apart from each other.
Went to Lourdes prior to starting my 2016 Camino. Participating in the evening procession helps one put the commercialism in place. It is amazing that people from all over the world travel there. I reccomend going.
