A group of us at an albergue were able to jointly hire a local for the drive back. I can't remember how much, but it was affordable. Four new people and great conversation!

Cold water wash is not the thing to do at the beginning. Soak it in hot water with dissolved salt(without iodine!) for about 30 minutes. Then hot water wash and rinse in a machine. Then hot dryer. Heat is what sets the dye along with the salt. Cold water washes are not ever going to finish the...
