    I walked in June and never met any nasty bugs. Just one section where bluebottles turned up en masse (large flies, not sure if that is the term in other countries). Fortunately they only flew into my face in ones and twos and I became very adept with the wrist strap of a collapsed walking pole...

    "head lamp... I'm going in summer so I think light will be enough to walk by around 5 - 6 am" This is Spain, sunrise in July is 6.30am. The anachronistic time zone throws people who expect sunrise about 4am mid summer

    Jacotrans and Correos. Very easy to use and reliable. Tip, do not leave anything of value in your pack. I know for definite my pack had been gone through at least once whilst in transit or before collection/post drop off.
