Slightly OT, but two mates of mine got back from a round the world trip recently and had taken one of them new-old-fangled Polaroid cameras and had taken "1 photo per day". This meant that they had a really nice little album with 40 photos in that you could look at and get a really good feel for...
I'm bored so I'm looking at stuff. It's the Dry Oil that's the ticket rather than the many other types.
It's not an urban myth that the military use it. However there are better options, with deet - that are a less nice.
It costs so little, I'd try it, if it doesnt work, bin it...Just don't...
Not sure that's true. Thought maybe Spanish flying insects have different tastes to Scottish ones. Although rumours are that they ve changed the formula now so it's less effective.

I've never thought about anything close to this before ever but now I've seen this - https://www.mountainhardwear.com/mens-elkommando-utility-kilt-OM3417.html - I want one more than I want to do the camino!
I'm Cornish too, I could pull it off!
Might see you there Dax!
I thought of suggesting a deliberately off-hand comedic remark to them to perhaps hint that their behaviour is not fantastic...
However, I'm still sat here 5 minutes later trying to think of a lavender based joke...
@Purky
I think we're violently agreeing with each other mate!
Part of a pilgrimage was a certain amount of hardship to "purify the soul" (I'm sure better phrases are available). I think what you show is that there is much more to it than "just" that!
