One was our “Shadow,” another “Lavender Boy” (he handed out sprigs of dried lavender and, play on words, we ran in to him twice in regard to laundry ~ once at a lavandería and again at a restaurant where he asked us to make change for the laundromat)
I agree with the suggestions here for streamlining your clothing list. Our packs were too heavy at beginning of our first Camino and we ended up sending a box ahead from Correos in Burgos to SdC.
I am in my mid-60's and have arthritis in my right knee and possible knee tears that have not been...
I just completed my first Camino which was also my second Camino. Last year I walked SJPP to Sarria with a friend and had to stop due to tibial tendonitis. This year I walked Triacastela via Samos to SdeC with a different friend to complete my Frances. It was also, tho, a completely different...

I arrive at Barajas on direct flight from US at 6:30 AM w/ checked baggage. Can I make the 10:30 train to Santiago? Or would it be better to plan on taking the afternoon train (1:15?)? Can I purchase a ticket that would be valid on either? Or do I need to lock into a specific time? Thanks ~
