    Paris to Bayonne then to St Jean, is very practical, and no expensive taxis 🚕. It’s always about cost v practicality and time which you need to weigh up, along with what is easy. Buen camino

    You should also look at flying into Paris. I was able to book the train from Paris to St Jean on one ticket with a change at Bayonne. For your flight home you don't have to return from the same airport. Look into "multi city" or "open jaw"...
