    Cobblestones and Setts

    I think the issue is that cobblestones/setts can become quite slippery when wet which poses a challenge. You are of course quite right, walking on them for any length of time kills your feet. I have been wearing Meindl trail shoes for 8 or 9 years and they help, but only a bit.
