If you visit Lourdes, you are already very close to the Camino Aragones. Why don't you start with this branch of the Camino?
Starting point could be e.g. Somport Pass or Oloron St. Marie. You will then join the main route of the Camino Frances just before Puente la Reina. Both starting points...
If you are already in Girona on the south side of the Pyrenees, you could start walking from Somport Pass or from Jaca on the very beautiful Camino Aragones (my preferred route for starting the Camino Frances).
I would recommend to walk a different, less traveled camino the next time, e.g. the Via de la Plata. On the VdlP there are much less places to eat and to stay for the night. So you will meet people a second and third time, which makes it much easier to start or restart communication.
