VdlP outfit for march, icebreaker needed?

Trekking poles
Highly recommend good inexpensive poles with all purpose rubber tipped feet/pads as these types will NOT slip on concrete/hard surfaces. I used Pacer Poles as well and they collapsed into my carry on Osprey 48 lyrics pack. Bring an extra set or two of these rubber “feet”. Very important you...- Ed Tweedy

Getting from Santiago to Lisbon
I got the bus from Santiago to Lisbon, indeed an all day affair but easy. My bus left at around eight/eight thirty AM from the main bus depot and I booked the ticket the day before. This was mid March this year after my la Plata jaunt. Good luck Ed- Ed Tweedy
