Hi fellow pilgrims,
After a compulsory break of 2 years due to... well, we all know... I might be able to do another Camino in October. Hopefully things will be really opening up by then! Living in Germany makes travelling to Spain/Portugal relatively easy and
being fully vaccinated and...
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if there is a guidebook for this route?
I know one can follow the blue arrows from Porto, but I would love to have something on paper too.
Maybe someone has walked this way and would like to share some information about the distances and places to sleep. Carrying...
I wonder what it's going to be like in 2021, regarding post-covid 19. The albergues municipal usually don't take reservations, but maybe that will change in the holy year 2021? Just asking for smaller albergues like Veigadana and Portela (after Pontevedra).

What a lovely idea, thank you so much!
Greetings from rural Germany 🙋♀️
We have a (minor) curfew too, but we can still go out for long (though solitary) walks in the hills.
Hope you are all safe & healthy.
Has anybody visited this waterfall? Is it worth a detour and if so, how far away is it from the city centre (i.e. from the park along the river)? Is it easy to get there?
Thanks in advance.
Highly recommanded between Santa Irene and Pedrouzo:
Albergue Rural Astrar
Albergue Espiritu Xacobeo
About 2 / 1.5 Km before Pedrouzo, if you don't mind the extra Km the next day.
Hi fellow pilgrims,
This might be complaining on a very low level, but...
It was very hot and I was extremely tired after a 30 km walk, so I decided to stay the last night in the albergue municipal in Monte do Gozo, in order to reach SdC fresh and relaxed the next morning. Mind you - not in...
Thank you all for your input!
It's my third CF (did the first ones in 2001 and 2008) and I prefer to stay the night in smaller villages that I haven't visited before. May is a very busy month and I want to avoid the crowds in larger and more popular towns whenever possible.
Unfortunately I...
Can somebody tell me if there is a bar/restaurant in RdA, to get a decent evening meal? Or even better: perhaps a communal cena in the albergue municipal?
A tienda would also work, but I'm a lousy (and lazy) cook.
Have a nice day 🤗
The first and probably most important lesson I learned from this adventure: never go on a Camino like this with a completely unexperienced coworker!
Ordering meals, asking for the bills, calling a cab, getting the stamps, organizing the Compostelas, getting our group checked in at the hostels...
