The train from Lourdes to SJPdP via Bayonne can take less than 3 hours, if you get the right connection and you can get a lot out of a single day in Lourdes if you plan ahead. Cathedral Closed...Is the Camino still worth it?
I am a Catholic but do not attend weekly Mass, so I suppose I am also to be considered ‘lapsed’. I have made at least one pilgrimage to Lourdes every year since 2000 & last September was lucky enough to be able to walk my first camino. Astorga to SdC - September 2018
