  • I was Born and raised outside of Montgomery..been living in Spain for years. If you do not have a comitment to a starting point, fly into Barcelona or Madrid and get ataxi to the bus station and take a ride to Pamplona (largest city close to where you want to start). A bus can take you to Roncevalles from there, or since you want to curb the time, just start from Pamplona if you like-too easy, no worries.
