I live on the meseta and like to star-gaze. I have found pilgrims night-walking in the neighborhood. I usually stop and ask them if everything is OK. About half of them are exhausted and lost. The other ones are hardcore pilgrims who carry tents...

I don't see a problem, provided you are reasonably fit and healthy. I have walked all these routes, though not necessarily as a combo. I have walked Salvador followed by Primitivo, which was most enjoyable.

I am a magnet for biting insects. Never had any issues in Spain. Maybe a mosquito here an there, but much less than what I am used to from home (Germany). Have never seen a tick in Spain. Spiders leave you alone unless you try to hurt them...

Headphones isolate you from your surroundings, so yes I wear them in the albergues as I try to get to sleep, but when I am walking I want to be aware of and to appreciate my surroundings.

I think people walking with headphones are fodder for bicyclists. I do not understand the connection between headphones and private moments.
