Hey there! I wanted to chat about my experience on the 2017 Camino Frances. I'm pretty average physically, maybe a tad overweight, did some training (could've done more), and could've lightened my backpack a bit.

It really comes down to how much weight you’re willing to carry. If you book ahead by one or two days you should be ok with albergue accommodation. But, I can’t say for sure bc my wife and I took the internal route. We had to stay in a hotel only...
