I saw a post on the APOC Facebook page that says the Botafumeiro is closed during 2018 for repairs. I searched this forum and saw an article from November 2017, but only that one and nothing more recent. Has anyone requested and paid for the botafumeiro to be used at a mass at the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela? What are the requirements other than paying the fee? Is it 400 Euro?
