Free breakfast at the Parador in Santiago?

We actually received a free breakfast coupon this March when we finished the Camino Portuguese and got in line early in the morning the next day to get our compestella. I almost didn't go cuz I thought it was too good to be true. But it was a wonderful lunch and we met some very interesting people

Portugese Camino Central or Coastal from Porto to Santiago?

Just everything I read said walking north out of porto on the Central Route would involve a lot of road walking. The suggested solution was to walk the coastal route for the first day and transfer over to the central at Vila do Conde .. That's what we did and it was wonderful

Portugese Camino Central or Coastal from Porto to Santiago?

We just finished central with the spiritual variant added and loved it. But we started our journey on the coastal for first two days to avoid roads out of Porto on Central Route. From the cathedral, go down to the river and hike the river to the coast. Then take a right. We hiked to Vila do...

It's there you just need to find it by doing a search. By the way I broke my ankle 4 weeks ago hiking the...

Coming Back from Fractured Ankle Shoe Thoughts..Hokas to ?

Hi. I recently fractured my ankle coming down the hill just out of Tomar on CP. In recovery and rehab stage now. I love my hoka speed goat 4s. They served me so well on my entire Camino Frances in Sept (800k) but concerned that the high stack height contributed to my turning my ankle on this...
