    Flights to/from the Portuguese Camino

The only danger we found was on day 1 where was a three step down, step along the sidewalk leaving the Se Catadral. Flights to/from the Portuguese Camino

Wife and I recently completed our Lisboa to SDC Camino Sept/Oct and we arrived in Lisboa, Walked to SDC then flew from SDC back to Lisboa. It is certainly passable but as other...

Rain Protection: Poncho or Rain Jacket for CF in April and May?

Hello Sang, I prefer to wear a rain coat with hood and carry a small hiking umbrella. I sweat very bad in a poncho so much that I seem to create my own rainy weather system inside of a poncho.

A note on reserving beds and the spirit of the Camino

Agreed!!! I was somewhat in awe that there remains a concept that donativos are free or almost free as possibly suggested by the lead poster in this thread —possibly not. (We then walked into a village and immediately saw an albergue that wasn't on any of the guidebooks; we got beds for 6...

Necessary to book albergues between Leon and Ponferrada?

Hello Thomas, I can share with you that 1. the Albergue Domus Dei Parroquial in Foncebaden, 2. the Albergue Parroquial "Apóstol Santiago" in El Acebo, and 3. the Albergue de Peregrinos San Nicolas de Flue in Ponferrada are open and there have not been full beds as yet. These are all donativo...
