Backpack is 2 kg too heavy TwT

Ditch the sleeping bag. Take a liner only I've walked Frances, Portugese and Sanabres in autumn and going on winter and never needed (or carried) a sleeping bag. Most Albergues have blankets or are heated, and day clothes double as night clothes, especially if it is a little bit chilly. Reduce...

    Accommodation after Cea?

Last November I just did the long walk from Cea to A Laxe where the municipal albergue was excellent and at that time No mosquito plague (See Gerald Kelly's comment later in this thread). Just the facilities needed as we had had lots of wet weather that day. Local Resto on the camino served a...

    Sanabres "Glitch"

The albergue was open in November but, honestly, nothing to write home about. I think we all ate at Nunez and although it comes at a cost you may want to consider spalshing out. The next day we walked on through Laza and on to Albergueria to an excellent albergue run by the owner of the bar...

What should I do about a phone?

I enjoyed a really excellent 7 days on the Sanabres in late November 23 after my 'phone expired (Don't ask how or why) and Guide Books, Maps, and fellow Pilgrims were all I needed boosted by the low numbers on the Sanabres which meant NO rush for a bed.

    Which water?

800 km on the Frances and 450km on the Portuguese filled up at every fountain etc as well as in every overnight albergue and NEVER a problem. I don't believe this is luck.
