Silly Stuff that you have Worn on Camino - Pics

This was in Borda after a day of only rain, rain, rain. The left foot belongs to Maxine, who I met that day and who has become a dear friend of me. The right ‘elegant’ croc belongs to me.

    Duo Lingo or Something Else?

I used Duolingo for a few months. At casa Fernanda I talked in Spanish with a spanish pilgrim who could (or would?) only speak spanish. We understood eachother! No need for a travelcompany. We used the Brierley guide (a pilgrim’s guide tp the camino portugues), but the guidebook by Anna Dintaman also does the trick. It is helpful to download the gpx tracks beforehand. The app “gronze maps” is also very helpful to sort out the stages. You don’t have to...

"Ideal" itinerary for a leisurely Camino Portuguese?

We did the same. It makes the stage a lot shorter. You can make a reservation by phone, they speak english. They have a very good menu del dia for lunch. Just ask for it, it is not on the written menu.
