It should be possible to connect in Brussels (BRU) where the second leg would be on TAP Portugal. I don't know why the AC rebooking algorithm is leaving people stranded in this way, but my guess is that it is booking AC legs only because AC has no way of knowing if partner flights will operate...- Jcf-kiwi
