    Ponferrada? Watch out

Well Annie, the Madrid part is not exactly part of the camino, so....XD By the way there was a Japanese hair dresser doing the camino and he cut hair upon request, anytime and anywhere I wish he was there for you that time

    Ponferrada? Watch out

True for some points. But I wasnt trying to ask you to black list it. If just me, then I may not post this. However I do think it would be nice to give warning for those who are going to visit the very soon, they may want this information as it takes time for the albergue to solve this. After...

    Ponferrada? Watch out

Just a warning for you guys. 2 days ago I stayed in the albergue san nicolas de flue in Ponferrada and the next day I woke up with a few bed bug bites on my feet. I told the staff immediately and he took away my bed liner. Didn't see if they clean the other ones from the same room. In the...

    Rain gear in June?

I'm thinking the same thing too as I will be walking this June. Seems like there may be more rain than I expected and I should bring my poncho.... Apart from the gears, what do you guys wear when it rains? I think many said waterproof boots are bad idea for camino. So sandals in rainy days?

    How's the Pyrenees?

Thanks all for your advises. Booked bus ticket and accommodation for SJPP already!:D I spare one more day there to recover from the jet lag and trying to book the Gite Kayola. If it's too late to book accommodation there then I will try the EB! Finger cross for good weather.:p

    Good Sleeping Quality Brainstorm

You may like to try this https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/sleepmaster/item/1679/ If it works we should have a fund raising event for the albergues so that they can purchase few each.:p

    How's the Pyrenees?

I'm still thinking should I start from SJPP, Pamlona or Roncesvalles. How is the Pyrenees? I know that I need to climb like a 1000m high. Will you consider it the hardest part among the whole camino frances? Is there similar view along the road apart from there? Buen Camino

    Merino socks?

I'm looking for coolmax liner at the moment and wanna see if it fits me, but couldn't find my size in hong kong yet. I wear UK 4 / EUR 37. Assume that it drys fast, I only need 1 pair. If there is one which seems good and not so expensive (don't know the general price but maybe around 10...

    Merino socks?

Unfortunately the only liner i found they don't have my size at all... Now I really need to try get them in spain I know generally the route is not really mountain. I just saw some introduction about the first day starting from SJPP, the graph looks like I need to climb over a 1000m high so I...

    Good Sleeping Quality Brainstorm

I should try the silicone earplugs before I go. See if it works By the way I saw this in facebook https://global.rakuten.com/en/store/matsucame/item/tsu4821/ It claims that it absorbs 126% of sound compared to urethan and block 99.9% of light XDDDDD If I have money and strong I would buy one...
