Traveling to Europe With Only a Backpack
I would like to know any difficulties when traveling with just a backpack. A large backpack may need to be checked by the airline. A typical backpack has many loose straps and the waist belt which seems to be a problem. I am just looking for some suggestions and advice. Thank you, Jim Dugan- jhdceltic

Walking the Camino 9-10 months after spinal fusion surgery.
Thank each of you for your replies. I will have surgery on February 19th. I am also determined to rehab myself to do the Camino. My surgeon said that he can't make me 20 again. I told him 50 would do.- jhdceltic

Walking the Camino 9-10 months after spinal fusion surgery.
I am scheduled to have a L4-L5 fusion tansforaminal lumbar interbody fusion in January 2013. I have had back problems for years although I am still very active and in shape. I would like to walk 100 miles with my son's to Santiago de Compostela next September. Has anyone reading theses posts...- jhdceltic
