Thank you both for your advice and replies. I briefly thought about walking in France, and I know it is very very beautiful, but honestly the only thing holding me back is my lack of French. Hi Laurie, thanks for your reply. That surprises me about how crowded it was! ACK!! I wasn't thinking about the temperature of southern Spain and about how people would likely start earlier.
