Camino del Norte or Camino Primitivo?

I did the Primitivo last year and absolutely loved it. V quiet at times, tranquil and peaceful - until we joined the Frances! But so many gorgeous days of walking and beautiful towns to walk around, found a municipal open air swimming pool one day which was just incredible for the legs! Started...

    Starting Irun Sunday 16th June

Am 53, from London and I did the Primitivo last year and loved it. Have persuaded my 18 yo daughter to join me this Summer. Can only do one week from Irun to Bilbao as time prevents otherwise but still looking forward to it. Hope to meet up with fellow peregrinos. Buen camino!

Late Arrival at Asturias Airport - Where to sleep?

I stayed at a local hotel, Hotel Restaurante Marqués de la Moral, which cost an eye watering 85 euros. With hindsight, I wished I had got a taxi to Oviedo and stayed there instead.

    Flights - Carry on Rucksack

My partner is concerned about taking her 35 litre rucksack as "Carry On" luggage as it might be deemed to be too big as Carry On luggage. She doesn't mind if it goes in the hold but she doesn't want to have to pay to do so. I've checked my own 46 litre rucksack in the hold so that I can carry...

    Half-Term Camino

Hi Everyone, Am thinking about doing my first camino from Porto to Santiago using the Coastal Route. Could either go in late August for 2 weeks which could be quite hot(I am fair and burn easily!) or at half-term, which last week in October. Obviously, my concern is that going at that time of...
