Hello all! I started walking June 18 from St Jean and just wanted to send some quick highlights and notes:
-I'm close to entering Galicia at this point and I still think there was nothing as beautiful as the first day walking from St. Jean to Roncesvalles. Of course it was a lot of hard work...
I lost my adaptor early on, but it was easy to replace in the next town. I thought I would have to buy one in a larger town, but I found a very small shop focused on Pilgrims and through some ridiculous hand motions in a game of charades, I was able to explain what I needed and bought one for...
Just ran into them this morning as they arrived into SJPdP. They went to get their credencials and then said they were headed out that day when I saw them around 11:00 rather than staying the night.
They all seemed in very high spirits and very excited!
