I was sad to see that Alb Paloma y Lena at San Mamede do Camiño near Sarria was closed when I passed in November last year. I had very happy memories of a hammock in the sun and a sumptuous meal there from my 2016 Camino. I think they are looking for a buyer rather than a manager, but you could...
I was there today and disgusted by litter- there’s a bin there, for goodness sake!
I carry a small plastic bag with me and carry tp to next aseos or bin. It’s not rocket science
By far the best and most convivial meal I had on the Le Puy route! The food is fresh, delicious and plentiful and the wine comes from a bottomless bottle! Our host actually enjoyed watching us enjoy ourselves-but he doesn't answer messages, emails or anything else! I think he's too busy cooking...

Thanking you brains trust in anticipation...

I wouldn't go without a light sleeping bag .... just in case it's like 2016
I met an English gentleman on the Camino frances last year who had fallen out of a bunk bed and fractured two vertebrae two years before. He was determined to finish his Camino and was back as soon as his doctors gave the OK.... but not sleeping on top bunks
we had breakfast at new cafe in San Salvador about an hour out of Finisterre this morning. So... don't believe the sign at Asador San Roque as you turn on to the route to Muxia off the highway that says no more cafes until Lires!
A donativo with fruit and drinks is about an hour on from the San...
I hope you are back and offering your hospitality to dazed and exhausted novice pilgrims soon. I was very grateful for your kindness last April and wish you well.
