I walked from Irun to SdC in Hoka oneone challengers. We finished 2 weeks ago. On a wet day I wore sealskin waterproof socks. My partner walked in sandals and sealskin waterproof socks on wet days. My Hokas dried out quickly and this pair lasted well unlike other Hokas I've used.
We're going to do the Norte in 2 weeks and rather than pay for 2 bags in the luggage haul we're using this bag for putting both in and save £30. Great if there's 2 of you going and saves money🤭
Muxia in my opinion is a much better end to the camino. It's so atmospheric with ancient field system walls, the huge boulders, the church and the sculpture. I spend hours here soaking up the pre Christian appeal of the place. Ultreia friend.
My way too. The joy of throwing a cotton towel over our shoulder and giving ourselves a right good scrub.A wonderful feeling. As the towel is worn and thin it weighs next to nothing and dries quickly.
