    Using Airalo app on CF

I’m in Spain now and have been to both Orange and Vodaphone and both say they can’t help me because I have an e-sim. Im going back to Vodaphone again this afternoon and show them an article from Apple support. Otherwise, I guess I’ll buy one of those plans mentioned in this thread

which sleeping bag for a camino in winter?

I haven’t walked the entire Camino in a while. But I wonder what the situation is with blankets. You could carry a lighter bag and hope. The few albergues I stayed in on my short Camino last year had them. Of course you don’t want to be caught out. But I bet the Hospitaleros have some blankets...

    Transport from Leon to Bilbao

You could take a bus to Bilbao, stay at hotel ILUNION which is across the street. In the morning you could take the airport shuttle (cash only) to the airport.

    San Toribio and Covadonga

I walked Toribio in '07 so can't give you current advice. I will just say that I learned about it from the hospitalio in San Vincete. He gave me a small piece of paper with a hand drawn map in pencil. I made it just fine, and the walk was a high light. You'll be fine too.

What experience have people had with waterproof socks?

Hi Stewart,I have used sealskin socks, (no inner socks, but I don’t see why not). I wore Chaco sandals with an innersole gorilla-glued on. I like the adjustable strap on the Chacos. For rain I had a knee-length rain coat and a lightweight umbrella. I didn’t have problems with rain getting in...

    Bilbao to Logrono

The Bilbao airport is small. You shouldn’t have any trouble finding the bus that will take you to the main Bus/metro station. Pay the driver in coin. I hope you can catch a bus to Logrono but if not there is a hotel very near the main bus station called Hotel Estadio that I stayed in. Or...

My personal experience. I don’t know about non-Spanish banks but I suppose you could research this yourself.
