I think the main points have been raised, I did the route in May and it was 30c+ the N60 is a long straight quiet, well surfaced road, but the sun blazes down on it with no shade. Rest and water stops saved me.

Hello Jim, I cycled the VDLP 3 years ago .Flew from Manchester into Seville with my bike and out of Santiago. The airport in Santiago offer a bike boxing service, it was 18E then.

I will be cycling the road route of the camino Mozarabe from Almeria in October and would be grateful for any information on route finding and hostals.

Thanks ,makingtrax, when I was in Bilboa my friend and I had a similar situation, we were told cycles were allowed at the drivers descretion. The first driver said no, but the next bus driver was fine with the bikes made up. Linda bicigrina

I will be arriving into Seville airport on 22/5/19 to start the VdlP. Can anyone tell me if the Seville airport bus will transport bicycles. If so do they need to be packaged as for airline transport? Linda bicigrina

Thank you Paladina for your tip about bike storage in the bar, I will make a note of it. Also when I cycled the Camino St.Francis we had snow and hail stones in certain places so you have reminded me to take some warm layers.
