    Weather on the Camino Portugese

    I started the interior route from Lisbon on Aug 3 this year and it was incredibly hot for the first five days or so. It was a bit cooler after that but I have had a couple of hot days, 28-30 C, since Porto so i would imagine that July could be hotter. The suggested stages can easily be shortened...

    Leaving Lisbon August 3

    I have my passport and my backpack is packed and hope to leave early tomorrow morning. I am "cheating" a bit and taking the metro to Oriente as my hostel is quite far from Cathedral Se. I saw my first arrows today and that felt great!!! Anybody else just starting out??? Let me know!!!
