    Hi Anna, I spent a few days walking in the opposite direction in 2011 without maps and i found it difficult to find the way especially in Burgos and Pamplona and the Spanish locals are so helpful you have to explain that you know you're going the wrong way. Paul

    There is a French taxi company called Express Bourricot that operate around the border they took me from Pamplona to St jean in 2010 for 25 Euros you have to book in advance.If you have the energy think about spending an extra day on the trail and walk from St jean it's a lovely walk. Paul
