I suppose I worry about him wanting for more and more or finding someone else with a similar interest. Keep in mind that this trip was not a desire of his until his friends enticed him to go. This is exactly how I feel about my husband going on the Camino without me. I actually have no desire to do this sort of thing but am very upset about him leaving for 5 weeks. He rarely travelled with me and our kids when they were young and always did his own thing and I was happy for him...- Lynne B
