I’ve also used a Costco down throw that I added snaps to. I like your idea of a zipper even better. Thanks for sharing. Amazon carries the extract same throw in four colors at a bit of a higher price.

Last year I also stayed at Albergue de Ada. It was spotless! And the vegetarian meal cooked by the host was delicious (I'm not a vegetarian). I would definitely stay there again.

There's a post office (Officina de Correos) in the Madrid airport, T1, floor O, Arrivals Hall (week days 08:30-14:30, Saturdays 09:30-13:00). We arrived too early to use it so had to mail our things from SJPDP. Don't remember the cost, but it is more expensive in France than Spain.
