    Albergue Palacio Grajal de Campos

Beautiful albergue, stayed there alone i may 2019. Newley renovated. Aproxx 15 bunkbeds in a row in a stonewalled “hallway” on ground floor. No dundgeon. The day I was there, the restaurant was closed, but I managed to get a sandwich at the bar. Very quiet place saw almost none.

Cuenca albergue sees 45% drop in peregrinos

I agre, la Lana is a very solitary Camino. Walked Alicante - Cuenca early May this year. I was lucky to meet two men my first night at Orito an had company to Almansa and Alatoz. The following days I walked by myself, saw no more peregrinos. Next year I will try a less solitary route after some...

Back from Camino Levante - loved it.

Thank you Laurie and p_mci for your suggestions. I have started to read about those caminos on the forum. Mozarabe and Olividado sounds fantastic - must be on my must walk list, maybe too many steep decents for my knees right now, but that might change .C Ebro I have never looked at until...
