take into consideration the weight of your pack as well. I had a five pound pack and opted for a 3.5 pound pack for the camino - every ounce counts when you're going up!
I am doing my first Camino in "29 more sleeps" and that is some of the best advice I've heard yet :) I'm not big on line ups! Thank you so much for that!!
This is how I feel as well. Both my mom, daughter and grandkids want to know I am safe. I did however tell them I will not be in touch daily, maybe twice a week, and I will post a picture to facebook daily so they can see I am ok. I am sooo looking forward to this time to unplug and just walk.
Thank you all, this is very helpful. This is my first Camino, and only my 2nd trip anywhere, and I'm traveling from BC Canada, so quite the trip for this non traveler! I am eagerly anticipating "all" experiences and sights. Grasias!
Hello fellow pilgrims. I will begin my journey at the end of August, and - since there is not a lot of time for sightseeing, I'm wondering what are the spots (castles? etc.) not to miss? Your guidance would be most appreciated. Thanks!
