I wore altra lone peaks on my camino earlier this year. I loved them. You may wish to look into arch supporting socks or similar. My plantar fasciitis started acting up as I got close to Santiago. And I did get blisters on the balls of my feet (but not the toes! Yay altras. Some additional...
I just hiked the CF with my 12-year-old twins. They both had quite a bit of anxiety about being in crowds, for example at albergues or on public transportation. They also didn’t love that we had limited access to wifi. What helped them was knowing that we’d have some time each day to connect to...
I’m currently on Camino with my 12 year old twins. Hello from León. It wouldn’t be my thing, but they’d love it. Anyone know where I can get more information? Is it only available in Spanish.

We are not bothered at all. But I do not want to disturb other pilgrims who may not wish to have a women in the men’s bathroom or have me bring my teenage son into the women’s room.

Hello! I’m so excited to say that I’m going on pilgrimage again starting June 1st in SJPP. This time, I’m bringing my twin 12-year-olds with me and I’m excited to share this special experience with them. I have been thinking about it since my last Camino!
I went to reserve an albergue for our...
I made that trip by BlahBlah car once. It’s a app that connects you to other people traveling that way who have extra seats in their car and then you end up paying part of the gas expense.
This sounds like a good problem! Congratulations on the reduced snoring. Your proposed solution of getting dressed in the bathroom after your shower is absolutely fine. And I think there is a lot of grace going on. Everyone is just human and doing what they need to do. Nobody will go out of...
My thought is that we are not the first pilgrims who’ve ever lived through a pandemic. The camino has survived hundreds of years during some of the worst plague times. Surely this will continue to be true.
