  Then Labruge to Vila do conde. You can stay in Vila do Conde or Povor continue straight to the central route in one day. That's really the only option for crossing over to the central unless you keep on the coast until Caminha. Hiya That's...

  Fully agree, it´s a really lovely start, you get a bit of Porto and then the coast really loved this, we stayed at Perafita which is about 17km if i recall correctly

  That is basically what I did. I stayed 2 nights in Porto. Day 1 I walked along the Douro and the ocean to Matosinhos, then took the subway back to my hostel. Day 2 I took the subway to Matosinhos and walked to Povoa de Varzim.
