Looking for a review of these hiking boots.
The best advice I could ever give someone when Walking the Camino in December is not wearing a Gore-Tex shoe. I did it once and I created a steam bath inside the boot leaving me with blisters that needed medical attention. Stay away from Gore-Tex in the summer.- Mcdarrell

Which cities to "skip"?
My suggestion would be to skip work, not the Camino. The Camino is much more important than any work.- Mcdarrell
