I just came back from the Camino Frances in November and had no problem anywhere. Mask on the arm to wear in large cities. Fully vaxed from the EEUU. Good times, my fourth and I strolled this one, older and wiser.
Great idea, just watch out because when they get old they have a tendency to shirt out our possibly explode. I have personally seen that happen. I purchase a new one every year but there next one will be to take on my next Camino.!!
I'll be there on the 20th of Sept.from the US, my third. I bought bud tickets here and it worked out the first time perfect but the second I missed the bus and caught a train to Pamplona. It all seems to work out no matter what you do...Bien Camino!
I will be leaving from here (US) to St. Jean on Sept 20th. I was going to start in on the other side of the Pyrenees but my friend wanted to start there. I've done it before I think I can do it again.. Lol. Have fun!!
Funny that as I was walking from Porto this September and I was clipped by a Diesel Truck and bent one of my Leki poles....all that traffic from Lisbon had it's chance!!!!
I'm on my way the 5th of Sept also with a nice couple from Las Vegas. My first non-solo trek on the Camiho Portugal. I'm sure that this wont be my last Iberian adventure so our chances of crossing paths look good. Always nice to meet other people that enjoy it all.
Well if are there you know how bad it is. Went forward back all around. Completo was the word the day. Not the Camino I remember but people do it their own way. God Bless I'm off to a different trek.
