I’m wondering about the shoulder and hip straps - do you wrap these when carrying on or just stuff it into the overhead locker? My old backpack had a zip out cover which kept the straps from catching on things. Cheers
I’m not great at pre-booking as I don’t enjoy being locked in, hence my booking of flights eleven days before departure. This is probably a pretty dumb move on my part but hopefully I will be able to get a bed if I arrive midday. I had hoped that accom wouldn’t be at capacity.

Thanks for replying and your advice. Arriving late was not my intention but my flight into Paris means I’ve had to leave time to get through customs and therefore the late domestic flight. Was trying to avoid the cost of a taxi - hoping I can share with others.

Gosh, this has been my exact thinking this week! I’ve been planning and researching for months and finally booked this week to fly from Australia on 5 September. It was difficult to commit, but now it feels great to know I’ve started the journey.
