I'm on the Portuguese coastal it's very difficult getting Albergues, I have been told pilgrims numbers are up by 75 percent this year, I have seen many getting turned away
On my last Camino I took a microwavable bowl and mug, both with lids, and plastic knife fork and spoon, most albergues seem have a microwave, and managed alright.
The route was quite busy until it joined the central route, then very busy, several pilgrims told me that the had problems booking accommodation, especially near Santiago
No problems booking and paying for the boat on line.

A local told me it was normal !
I did it with Tour Galicia, we went to Finisterre, Muxia and lots more on a day trip for only 35 euro. The guide was excellent. I had a really good day out. It probably costs a bit more now!
