Hi All- I’d like to hear from someone who walked the Camino who had similar health issues.
Of course I’m feeling itchy about walking the Camino again, only this time I’ll be 12 years older (65) and a Type 2 Diabetic. I’m a little nervous about my feet. So far, I’ve had no issues at all but...
Update: I got to Orisson at 9:30am, gave up my room, and kept going! My toes were killing me when I walked out of the beech forest at 5:00pm, but I made it! What a high to end my first day on the Camino, except I was so exhausted and hungry.
if I had to do it again, I think I would do the same. ☺️
I just finished Hadrian’s Wall on the Conquerer app. I walked the CF in 2012 and in 2013 took a friend back with me to finish from Santiago to Finestere. She and I will be starting the CF virtual soon. ☺️
My sister and I tried the Cotswold Way. Sadly, after the 2nd day it was so secluded (literally saw no own on Day 4) we didn’t feel comfortable out the alone so we hopped a cab and spent extra days in Bath.

I wish I would have stayed one day extra in SJPdP before walking. I really feel I missed out on seeing the town. That is my one and only thing I would change from my Camino.
