I've tried opening the link, but the web page has been blocked. I'm not sure if that's to do with my settings or the link. Has anyone else had this problem?

    COVID Trouble contacting Orisson.

Absolutely 100% agree as this makes the start of the camino much more relaxed and enjoyable. A bus to SJPP from Pamplona is also a possibility if you choose to start from there. My choice was to walk from Pamplona to Roncesvalles, and bus from there into SJPP. Buen camino :)

    Traveling in October/I hope

My choice to fly to Madrid, taxi from the airport to the train station, then enjoy a very long, but very relaxing train ride to Pamplona, with all the beautiful views, was a very simple choice. I stayed overnight in Pamplona and next day I took the bus to SJPP. Another beautiful ride...

    Letters From Lockdown

Thank you so much for asking...I can't put a name to the face as I came across it whilst searching for something on google several years ago, and this is it.

    Letters From Lockdown

I love your idea. Very inspired 🤗 The current lockdown and travel restrictions are giving rise to many such wonderful ideas. My friend and I should be in spain walking the camino Frances as of today. We chose to postpone our flights (until hopefully September) and the day after, the news...

    HELP! (Shoe advice) April 2020

I would suggest Salomon trail runners if you didnt already have your choices. They are extremely comfortable, have excellent grip and dry quickly if they do get wet. I have blister prone feet, and these have saved me, and will on my next CF. I start walking March 29th. Wearing two pairs of socks...

A plea to all women on the Camino Frances: ‘Take your toilet tissues with you’!

Excellent idea! Perhaps a polite notice on the wall or window of the pilgrim office in S.J.P.P could be a good start.

A plea to all women on the Camino Frances: ‘Take your toilet tissues with you’!

I agree 100% with your observancy of the problem on tissue disposal, wipes being the worst, throughout the Camino Frances, and others too. This is an enormous blot on the landscape of a beautiful, clean country. Due to the lack of bins it has to be the sole responsibility of every pilgrim to...

Walking from Pamplona to St Jean

After more than a year since your post, I`m happy to have discovered that you posed the same question that I have now, and it`s proving difficult to accumulate all the necessary info required to walk from Pamplona to SJPP via Valcarlos without getting too lost. Iv`e tried reversing the written...
