    Finisterre to Muxia level of difficulty

    My husband and I walked from Fisterra to Muxia in September, overnighting in Lires. Not terribly difficult BUT be aware that there are not many places to get water or food on the route. Be sure to carry enough to meet your needs for the day.

    My husband and I checked our bag from USA to Madrid. Then took a train to Ferrol. No problem taking poles on the train. So if you’ve not yet purchased a ticket to Ferrol you might try the train. It was very pleasant .
