    Last year when I bought a new Backpack at a reliable place in Canada the person in charge of hiking equipment went online to check the requirements for Air Canada and was able to confirm my backpack would be allowed in the plane compartment. All was good.

    Permethrin is still the best protection. I spray my sleeping bag and saturate and hang it out to dry before I leave for the Camino. I also spray my Backpack my boots and my Outback hat. AS of yet no BB.

    Lizard shoes

    Lasting footwear. I wore my Keen boots last year and this year and perhaps how they look I can wear them next year on the Camino Norte. Keen are hardy and comfortable.
