    People like me REALLY like people like who who take precautions out of consideration for others:-) If more of us took precautions, we wouldn't spread these parasites from auberge to auberge, person to person, and the Camino could be a lot more worry-free and enjoyable for everyone, I'm sure.

    Do checked bags often get lost? I'm a little concerned about this if we can't carry on our 45 liter backpacks. We are flying direct from Dublin to Biarritz on Aer Lingus. Bedsides height of bag, we were planning to bring bed bug spray so weren't sure about getting that onboard in a carry-on.

    Yes, so I've heard from another member on here. The instructions do say to take the leaves out with dry hands as well, but I may just leave them at home for backpacking trips and use my body wash for days I don't have access to washing machines and laundry soap. Thanks so much!
