Take a cab direct from the airport to Lisboa - Oriente station, you will need to travel to Porto - Sao Bento station which is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Note the details of the trip, you will get off at Porto - Campanha and transfer to the local commuter to Sao Bento. From there the...
The number one purpose of a trekking pole is to provide an opportunity for your upper body to participate in the work of walking/hiking. Safety is a side benefit. Now I am in agreement with you that the best practice is to hike without the rubber tips. But this only applies to outside of the...
If you are planning the Littoral I would suggest following the river out of downtown then north along the coast. https://www.relive.cc/view/vevWQ4Dmoy6

The best training in my view is being on your feet all day. The Camino is about the head and the heart over the body. I saw many young fit people leave the way because they tried to conquer it and found themselves counquered. The friends you make along the way will also carry you on those...
My family has 7 compestellas from St Jean to Santiago. Thats 265 alberge bunks. We did not ever have to deal with bed bugs, though others near us did. If encountered follow the steps to treat for them and then continue on. I would recommend not starting your journey with this worry.
