    Take the detour. Ourense is a do. The municipal albergue is minutes from the public thermal bath. There’s new lodging in Castro Dozón so you will have a place to sleep. Buen camino

    Where do ( did ) you walk locally in 2024?

    North Jetty Marina Del Rey, (Los Angeles), California. The wind was strong so planes landed at LAX over ocean as opposed to taking off over it. Many folks just park, sit in car, and enjoy the quiet. If you look closely snow-capped mountains are in the distance.

    I’ve hitched twice, requested a ride once, and was told to, “get in car” one time. Everytime my drivers were gracious, kind, caring, and safe. Buen camino.
