Hi Vive, Delighted to hear your experience in Carrion was positive! I missed that one, but had a wonderful experience at Pilgrim Mass in Belorado! Just home from this Camino - another extraordinary experience! Please stay in touch! ~Terry

Hi Vive! SO good to hear from you!! I hope thoughts about your 2014 Camino were all positive! Thank you for the good wishes! So far all is well! Did you go to the Pilgrim service in Carrion? I thought it was a wonderful experience! Stay in touch!

Hi Terry -- Sorry I was logged off for a bit. Yes, I made a point of staying in Carrion because you told me to go to the pilgrim service, and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life! A perfect way to close out that Camino (well, Finisterre was a perfect way too). And I love the idea of starting the next with the pilgrim service in Carrion again. Hope this trip is still going well!

Hi Terry, I have been thinking about my 2014 Camino and found myself thinking about you. What a delight to find you still on the forum AND headed back for your next Camino! I made it in 2014 to Carrion, then walked from Santiago to Finisterre. Now I just have to decide when I go back to finish. Wishing you a beautiful and peaceful Camino full of magic.Vive, from Austin

Hi Vive! I wonder when you will be back on the Camino - your message of 9.30.16 sounded like it was not far off. I'll return about 20th May - would like to see Spring on the Camino! Will probably start in Logroño, and walk for about a month - slowly. Will we be able to meet up somewhere?? If not, so be it -- but it WOULD be nice! Take care! Terry

Thought I saw on other posts that you'll start on Tues? If so, you'll be way ahead of me - I'm slow

Yes I was planning to start a couple of days earlier. I booked at Orrison Thursday, was worried about the long first day and decided not to rush in getting to the start.

I wasn't able to make the get together. I plan on being at the next one. I leave for my Camino on May 10th. I'm getting excited and a little scared, but I'm slowly making my plans and reservations for the first two nights. I will actually be on the trail on the 12th, stopping at Orisson for that night.

I may get to the next get together on the 25th - it would be nice to meet! Are you connected to the Puget Sound Pilgrims yet? Here is the email address - pugetsound@americanpilgrims.org - let them know when you're walking the Camino, and ask to be put on their mailing list -- there are some other activities that you may enjoy hooking up with. Hope to see you in a couple of weeks!

I'm starting from SJPP on 5 Sept -- but will be averaging only about 7 - 10 miles a day, so you'll probably catch up at some point. I don't plan to arrive in Santiago until about 7 or 8 Nov. You aren't, by chance, the FL couple I met last Sept in Fromista and again in Galicia are you?? "FLORIDA!" / "SEATTLE!" We never exchanged names...alas...

No. We last walked in 2012, Sarria to Santiago. The Fall seems to be gaining popularity. Here is my email, buddy@bandbstuff.com. Let us know your progress from time to time and hopefully we catch up at some point. We hope to reach Finistere by 30 Oct., then we'll visit family and friends in Santander before heading home.

I DID see that you had walked the year before - sorry I didn't catch that earlier! Your trip this fall sounds wonderful! Let's be in touch closer to Sept. Looks like you two will be moving MUCH faster than me, so we may meet somewhere between the Cruz de Ferro and Portomarin. Buen Camino!!
